Essential Oils have been used around the world for thousands of years for their healing properties. Essential Oil diffusers are designed to vaporize essential oil into a mist creating a wonderful aroma. This aroma is thought to have both physical and emotional healing effects. Each unit comes with a wooden base, glass diffuser bottle, glass top and a power supply. Diffuser bottles are available in different shapes but function the same as one another. The diffuser functions by forcing air into one of two micro glass tubes one of which is submerged in a bath of essential oil at the bottom of the diffuser bottle. Air pressure in one of the tubes creates a vacuum effect in the other drawing oil up into the tiny jet of air atomizing the oil into super small droplets of essential oil that diffuse into the air through the top of the glass diffuser bottle. The Aromis diffuser requires no heat or water to function keeping the the essential oil in its natural state as it becomes a mist. The diffuser is made of wood and glass external components having no plastic parts to corrode when in contact with the oils like most other diffusers. ** estimated shipping time within Continental USA via USPS priority mail. This unit has a built-in timer function that turning on and off every ten minutes then shutting down after 4 hours.

I'm an extremely experienced buyer and user of essential oil diffusers. I REALLY like this one (I've returned or given away quite a few others over time, kept a few of course), and I feel to offer that if you're considering the purchase of this one or have just bought it and haven't unboxed it yet, read what I'm sharing here. This beautiful AroOmis nebulizing essential oil diffuser will work beautifully for you IF YOU KNOW AND DO A FEW THINGS AHEAD OF TIME!!!#1. KNOW YOUR OILS!!! If you try to put an essential oil in this diffuser that has been blended with a carrier oil such as Fractionated coconut oil, jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rosehip Oil or other oil, YOUR DIFFUSER WILL CLOG. It is a NEBULIZING diffuser and is not designed to handle essential oils containing carrier oils. Most single oils will be fine, see one of my comments further down. IF YOU'RE NOT SURE what's actually IN the essential oil you want to use, LOOK IT UP on the manufacturer's or producer's website. VERY THICK OILS like Myrrh, it will not be suitable for this nebulizing diffuser.#2. FOLLOW THE SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS and preferably WATCH THE SET-UP VIDEO. It is important to set up the diffuser, plug it in, and TURN IT ON, BEFORE you add your essential oils.#3. UNCLOGGING THIS DIFFUSER IS EASY. WATCH THE VIDEO on their WEBSITE showing how to UNCLOG the diffuser IF it gets clogged. Best to know how ahead of time. It's easy and quick. But if you use the right oils, you may never need that information.#4. THIS DIFFUSER IS A CLEAN DIFFUSER. If you're using appropriate oils and use the recommended 20 to 40 drops of oil, you will quickly appreciate how cleanly it diffuses.#5. THIS IS A 4-HOUR DIFFUSER. In other words, this one, the one sold on Amazon, diffusers for 4 hours. There are other diffusers available from the company that are pre-set for 1 hour, 8 hours, or 10 hours, but you have to contact them if you want one. You can also contact them and send yours to them, to have them reprogram it for one of the other timings.Hope this all helps! Happy diffusing!I've tried many Oil Diffuser over the past 2 years. They have all broken down, cracked, or just didn't;t work. I tried cheap and expensive models. I was about to get a very expensive product that hotels use in their lobby areas. I just wanted something that would last, work, and make my home smell good. I didn't mind paying a lot for a great product. And then I gave ArOmis a try. WOW, this Diffuser is awesome. I've had it for about 8 months and I use it every day. I have not had any problems with it. When people come over they always comment on how great my house smells and how elegant the Diffuser looks. I placed my Diffuser in the foyer of my home and my entire house smells wonderful. I'm very happy with this product. Give it a try, You will love it.I spent a great deal of time looking for a good quality diffuser, and have spent a great deal of time since purchasing this and using it with a variety of different oils (not brands, just different oils from the same brand).Pros:DurabilityEase to cleanDiffusion of scentSizeAppearanceNoiseCons:Timer settingsFirst, cons: Despite the extensive list of pros, the inability to have more than one setting option is an inconvenience. Research does indicate that the on for x time, off for x time does allow one to best benefit from the oils. Still, I would have like variety myself. It doesn’t detour from the overall capabilities or power of this diffuser, though. The pros are truly what make this device worth the pretty penny it costs. In the year that I have had this, I have never had it not work, malfunction, hiccup, etc. The only times I noticed an issue with oil diffusion was due to the glass bottle needing a cleaning. I did, in error a few times, use thicker resin oils when I first got this, because I was newer in oil diffusion. Oils like Amyris will always have trouble being diffused, and despite its power, this diffuser just can’t do those. This is called out though on the device, I just overlooked it. Despite this, once I thoroughly cleaned the bottle, it diffused the next blend with no issues, lingering scent of either the previous oils or alcohol at all. I did have to replace the bottle recently, but’s that’s because I dropped it, not a fault of the product. I have read reviews regarding the motor, but despite quite consistent use, there has been no hesitation with this, at all.Cleaning is a breeze: I put both the top and the bottle in a cup, pour 99% isopropyl in the bottle, and enough in the cup to fully cover the bottle top, and let it sit for a few hours (or 24 for a full cleaning), then empty and let air dry. Important note: alcohol does linger in the little tubes at the bottom of the bottle, so be sure to let the bottle fully dry before using it. No scrubbing, swabbing, cleaning small corners, etc. Pour, soak, empty, air dry. Hardest part of that is waiting for it to dry.The bedroom this diffuser sits in is roughly 8’ x 10’, so I have it sitting in a corner facing into the room. 99% of the time, I will run it on it’s lowest setting, to prolong the oil in the bottle. Despite this, it takes less than 30 seconds for the entire room to smell like whatever I want it to: peppermint, lavender, chamomile, davana, orange, blends, single, whatever I diffuse, I never have any issues with it not filling the room. During the day while I work, during the night while I sleep. Day or night, this little machine runs at least 5 times a week, and works like the first day it came home. No fans needed to help it (doesn’t stop me from doing this from time to time). This is perfectly sized, not too clunky to get in the way, not too small to miss, it has a delightful appearance that looks like a fine décor item. This particular style intrigued me with its dark rounded base design and delicately entwined bottle interior. The various options allow you to pick a style that fits with many themes in a room.Noise level depends on the intensity of the diffuser. Since I use the lowest setting, the noise is fairly low, and can be drowned out by a fan very easily. I would describe it like a low brown noise. Because I personally have it next to the bed, I notice it easily, but if placed further away, it would be harder to hear. It does vibrate while in use, but with the rubber backing on the base, the diffuser doesn’t move, even on a smooth wooden nightstand.Keep in mind that the description does indicate that poor quality oils, carrier oils, and thick oils will not work well with this, so it is important that the brands you use are of good quality, and that you are only using essential oils that are not super thick. Proper cleaning and good oils will allow you to run this delightful diffuser for years to come. This was expensive but exactly what I wanted. Not a humidifier, just releases scent. Easy to use, just add oil and turn. It doesn’t make any noise, runs on and off for 4 hours and then shuts off. I use it with lavender oil to help me sleep.
