This was cheaper than the Motion Pro tool when I bought it. (Right now it's not, so double check the prices before you buy.) It certainly makes life easier. Measuring the oil level only takes a few seconds and you can be sure that your measurement is accurate. I double checked the hash marks against a tape measure just in case.The tool itself works. I suppose the bigger question is whether it's worth it to buy the tool instead of using a tape measure or a ruler. I was completely changing oil in both forks. My owner's manual gave both an amount of fork oil (in mL) to add and an air gap measurement. I will admit that when I just added by volume, the air gap matched up perfectly. I could have easily verified that with a tape measure instead of with this tool. I could have gotten away without using this tool, but it was nice to have it on hand just in case. Hopefully I won't have to change my fork seals again soon, so I'm not sure it was worth it to buy this tool. Like I said, though, this tool works, so I'm still going to give it 5 stars. If you have a lot of motorcycles or service your forks a lot for whatever reason, this would definitely be worth it.
