\’hep-kat\ (n): The original hipster, used to describe jazz aficionados back in the 1940s and 1950s. (Think Kerouac.) Our translation of that vibe is coarse and fearless, smoky and raw, just like the people who inspired it. Appropriately Hepcat's creator was played tracks from The Black Keys, Shakey Graves and Ben Harper for inspiration.
